These terms govern your use of Anthia. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Anthia.
Who we are
Anthia Operated by Henry Benzikie (sole trader) Oakhurst, Guildford, GU4 7UR United Kingdom
Legal contact: contact form
References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Anthia. References to "you" mean the individual or business using the service.
The service
Anthia is an AI powered companion for setting up a UK business. The core product is a personalised checklist generated from a short conversation, with citations to UK government sources. Optional features include a document vault, deadline reminders, AI follow-up chat, AI market research, and an affiliate marketplace.
Important notice: not advice
Anthia does not provide financial, legal or tax advice. Everything in your roadmap and any AI response is general guidance only. It signposts you to official UK sources (gov.uk, HMRC, Companies House, the ICO) and to third party providers. For decisions specific to your circumstances you must consult a qualified professional (an accountant, a solicitor, a chartered tax adviser). You remain solely responsible for your business decisions and for verifying any information against the linked official source at the time you rely on it.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, capable of entering into a binding contract under English law, and acting either as a sole trader or on behalf of a business you have authority to bind. You must give us accurate information when you sign up.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity under your account. Tell us via our contact form immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
Acceptable use
You must use Anthia in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it.
Pricing and payment
Anthia plans are one-off purchases, not subscriptions. There is no auto-renewal. Prices are in pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe. By placing an order you authorise Stripe to charge your payment method for the amount shown at checkout.
Upgrades from one tier to a higher tier are billed at the difference (for example, Seed to Sprout costs £50). Adding another business to your account costs £29 per business.
Refunds and statutory rights
See our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Affiliate links
Some links in Anthia are affiliate links: if you sign up to a partner service through them we may earn a commission. This is fully disclosed in our Affiliate Disclosure and never affects your price.
Intellectual property
The Anthia name, branding, dashboard interface, prompts and underlying code are owned by us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own business purposes for as long as your account remains in good standing.
Content you create (notes, business profile, uploaded documents) belongs to you. AI generated outputs produced for your business (your checklist, research reports, chat responses) also belong to you. You grant us the rights we need to host, transmit and process that content to provide the service to you.
We may use anonymised, aggregated data (counts, patterns, error rates) to improve the service. We will not use individual user content to train AI models.
AI outputs
AI outputs are generated by machine learning models and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. We have configured our prompts to refuse to invent regulatory information and to link to official sources, but you must verify any regulatory step against the linked source before acting on it. We are not liable for losses arising from AI errors.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with the service, however arising, is limited to the total amount you have paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the liability. Where you have paid us nothing, our maximum aggregate liability is £100.
We will not be liable for:
- Loss of profit, revenue, business, savings, anticipated savings or opportunity;
- Loss of, or damage to, goodwill or reputation;
- Loss of data, except to the extent caused by our breach of our data protection obligations;
- Any indirect, special or consequential loss.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your infringement of third party rights through your use of the service.
Termination
You may terminate at any time by deleting your account from Settings or by using our contact form. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, if continued operation would be unlawful, or if we permanently discontinue the service (in which case we will give reasonable notice).
Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as set out in our Refund Policy. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.
Changes to the service or these terms
We may change the service from time to time. Material changes that adversely affect you will be notified by email at least 14 days in advance where reasonably practicable. We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of Anthia after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Miscellaneous
If any clause of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms, together with the policies they reference, form the entire agreement between you and us in relation to Anthia and supersede any prior understanding.
