Some links in Anthia, particularly inside the Marketplace and on individual task cards, are affiliate links. This page explains what that means.
What is an affiliate link
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a third party provider. If you click through it and then sign up or buy from that provider, the provider may pay us a referral commission.
What this means for you
- Your price is never affected. The commission comes out of the provider's marketing budget. You pay the same as you would going to them directly.
- You are under no obligation to use our partners. Every recommendation is optional. You are free to find your own provider for any service.
- We disclose every affiliate link. Marketplace pages and task cards carry an "affiliate links" label. The full disclosure also appears at the bottom of the Marketplace page.
How we choose partners
We select partners on the basis of:
- User reviews and reputation in the UK market.
- Value for money for our typical user.
- Whether the partner makes setting up a UK business measurably easier.
We do not accept payment for placement and we do not give partners preferential ranking based on commission rates.
Transparency
We will tell you when a link is affiliate. We will not pretend that an editorial recommendation is independent when it isn't.
