Anthia plans are one-off purchases of digital content. Once you generate your roadmap or use a paid feature, you have effectively consumed the service. This page sets out our refund position and your statutory rights.
Your statutory cooling-off period
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel a contract for digital content and get a full refund.
This right is lost if you ask us to provide the digital content immediately and acknowledge that you will lose the right to cancel once you do. At checkout you give that consent so you can use Anthia right away. If you do not consent, you cannot access the paid features until the 14 days have passed.
Our voluntary refund window
Even where the statutory cooling-off period does not apply, we voluntarily offer a refund within 14 days of purchase if:
- For Seed, Sprout, Bloom and the upgrade SKUs: you have not generated a paid roadmap and have not used any paywalled feature beyond the free starter checklist.
- For Basic Research and Deep Research: you have not run a research report.
- For Add another business: you have not started onboarding for the additional business.
We may decline a refund where the above conditions are not met or where we reasonably believe the request is in bad faith.
How to request a refund
Use our contact form within 14 days of your purchase with:
- The email address on your account.
- The product you purchased and the approximate date.
- A short explanation of why you are requesting a refund.
You do not need to give a detailed reason. We will reply within 5 working days with a decision.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 working days of approval. Stripe's own processing fees are not refunded to us, but we will refund you the full amount you paid.
Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback through your bank without contacting us first, we will treat it as a refund request and respond to your bank with our records. Please use our contact form first; we will almost always sort it more quickly than the chargeback route.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the regulations referenced above.
